On Friday May 22th, London’s iconic Victoria and Albert Museum will once again come alive with chamber music as our talented Pathways students join this year’s YCAT-Robey Artist—Nathan Amaral. Over the past few weeks, Nathan has mentored and inspired these young musicians, helping them explore the power of chamber music—where every player is both a soloist and a team member.
Under the guidance of Nathan and our award-winning Music Masters teachers, the students have learned to listen more deeply, keep the pulse of the music steady, and shape their sound into a unified whole, demonstrating leadership and communication skills. Evidence gathered from across our Schools Programme shows how performances like this develop confidence and key team skills – attributes that benefit many areas of school and social life for our students.
“Playing chamber music is a massive leap forward. It’s a huge responsibility—holding your part confidently while also staying in sync with others. You’ve got to communicate, play expressively, and drive the tempo—all without a conductor. It’s incredible to see how far they’ve come.” – Matt, Music Masters teacher
Join us on this special evening to celebrate their hard work and growth. The performance will feature Nathan Amaral on violin, and Music Masters’ Graduate Ambassadors Ana Neves, Emily Harrison and Harry Nim .
🎶 Don’t miss this inspiring free event – a celebration of music, mentorship, and the future of young talent!
