At this year’s awards, Music Masters was shortlisted in two categories with the Flagship Schools Programme and the Pathways Programme both in the running. We are absolutely thrilled to share that, for the second year running, our Flagship Schools Programme won an award this year for the Excellence in Primary and Early Years (Music & Drama).

Throughout the evening, we were treated to powerful drama and music performances from young people a moving reminder of why we do what we do. The importance of arts education was beautifully captured by Cecily O’Neill, recipient of the Lifetime Achievement Award. In her inspiring speech, she reminded us that despite ongoing challenges in the arts sector, extraordinary work is happening every day and it is a privilege to stand alongside so many dedicated people creating opportunities for young people.

Our Schools Programme Manager Ashley Roye was there to accept the award on the night, alongside Flagship Schools music teacher Rachel Watson. Ashley says, “We are incredibly proud, deeply grateful, and honestly overjoyed. Winning once is special, now winning again is a true testament to the consistency, care and commitment that goes into our work every single week. We left more than inspired than ever to continue to deliver the work we do.”
