Teaching a child how to play an instrument can be one of the most rewarding experiences in the world, but we know it can also be hard, especially in a group setting where you might have limited support.
If you are a dedicated musician, trying to make music accessible to every child you teach, no matter what their background, then Musicians of Change (PGCEi) in partnership with and accredited by Birmingham City University is designed with you in mind.
This unique programme is delivered with a focus on the practical and emotional challenges involved in teaching music, and as such it will give you confidence in your teaching as well as the opportunity to work with a community of like-minded educators and world-leading instrumental and music education experts. You will gain not only improved employment prospects and a masters-level qualification, but also a renewed sense of motivation and purpose and the opportunity of working with an awarding-winning music education charity to make meaningful, long-lasting change.
