M‑Fest is back! Five Schools—One Huge Celebration of Music 🎶

March is Music In Our Schools Month, and that can only mean one thing for the Music Masters team: M‑Fest is back, bigger and bolder than ever!
Across all five of our Flagship Schools last week, corridors were filled with everything from jazz riffs to salsa rhythms, as we ran our annual music festival—a full‑blown celebration of creativity, confidence and community. At M‑Fest, every single child gets a chance to shine—no auditions, no barriers, no “this isn’t for you.” Just music, joy and opportunity for all. Because when music is valued as a core state‑school subject, we see real impact.

This year’s M-Fest had more inclusive music‑making than you can shake a maraca at! From group playing, improv, a house jazz band, teacher demos and parent classes to salsa dancing and open mic. We threw open the doors to parents and carers, inviting them to support, cheer, sing, dance—and even have a go at their children’s instruments. It’s a unique opportunity for them to see what happens when music education is for everyone, not just a privileged few.
