Give & Get Masterclasses – A Brand New Series

This year we are delivering a brand new series called Give & Get Masterclasses. London Music Masters will offer our most advanced and eldest Alumni the opportunity to receive a masterclass from a brilliant artist, and in turn they will have the chance to learn how to deliver a masterclass and lead their own with our primary school Pathways students.
For the first of the series, we were pleased to invite Randall Goosby, the inaugural Robey Artist through our partnership with Young Classical Artists Trust (YCAT), to lead the sessions.
For both the Artist and Alumni, this was an opportunity to gain skills and experience delivering masterclasses with young students, including acting as a role model, developing communication styles, and planning and preparation for teaching if that is something they would like to pursue. The Pathways students had the chance to develop new musical skills and techniques from an experienced musician, as well as be inspired by students/artists who have been through what they may be interested in exploring in later life.
London Music Masters is dedicated to developing all the musicians we work with into well-rounded and highly skilled people. This same ethos is what sits at the core of our Learning programme, from our youngest students in primary school, through our ever-expanding Alumni programme and including our work with established and emerging artists.
