Could you volunteer for us?

Applications are now open for our Volunteer Musician programme

At Music Masters we rely on generous individuals who want to give their time in support of our mission to give more children access to a great music education. We know musicians often get asked to do things for free, which is why our Volunteer Musician programme is designed to give valuable experiences to any musicians who volunteer their time.

If you are, or you know, a musician proficient on any instrument, looking to gain experience or take your first steps in music education, this role gives participants hands-on experience within our award-winning Flagship Schools programme. Opportunities could include:
– Free training and workshop delivery experience of creative composition workshops.
– Free training on introducing improvisation to young people.
– Experience of a wide range of events created for young people, both within and outside of school environments (ie concerts, gigs, school-based festivals etc.)
– Performance opportunities in a variety of ensembles (ie small house jazz bands, chamber ensembles, orchestra etc.) across a range of venues, including our flagship primary schools.
Find out more and apply by August 24th if you’d like to be a part of our Volunteer Musician programme for the 2026-27 academic year.
