“Music Masters formerly known as London Music Masters gave me the opportunity to develop as an individual. I started playing the violin when I was six years old at Ashmole primary school and I was very shy. But my violin teachers helped bring out the best in me especially when I was selected for the pathway Programme. It challenged me especially with my interpersonal skills. This enabled me to gain admission at Junior Trinity (3rd year going strong) and also scholarship at my present secondary school Kingsdale year 9. I wouldn’t have been able to achieve all this without the opportunities Music Masters has presented me and for that I am very thankful. It has has taught me to be disciplined, focused and also be confident in myself. It has not been an easy journey but it has taught me not to give up in anything that I aim for, I just have to work hard and persevere. My name is Bessie Okoli and I am a pathway Alumni.”
