Rachel Cooper is an award winning Music Educator with over 15 years of experience in teaching, research and community music. A Suzuki trained violin teacher, Rachel teaches with Music Masters as well as lecturing and mentoring for the charity’s Musicians of Change (PGCEi) course. She teaches at GSMD Junior Department and Wells Cathedral School as well as founding her own summer school VIVAStrings. She is a coach and lecturer with the Benedetti Foundation and ESTA MA in Practical teaching. Rachel was recently awarded the Dallas Symphony Orchestra’s Emerging Artist Award as part of their fifth Annual Women in Classical Music Symposium.
