Colin Lawson is Director of the Royal College of Music. He has an international profile as a period clarinettist, with an extensive solo discography. He has published widely on historical performance, especially for Cambridge University Press. He is co-editor (with Robin Stowell) of The Cambridge Encyclopedia of Historical Performance in Music (2018).
