Clíona is an Irish cellist based in London. She began playing the cello at the age of 4 and moved to the UK to study at the Royal Northern College of Music and the Royal Academy of Music.

Clíona is a passionate chamber musician and has performed in venues across the UK and Ireland such as Wigmore Hall, St. Martin’s-In-The-Field, St. John’s Smith Square and Áras an Uachtaráin. Clíona enjoys performing all genres of music, she performs and records with music producer Wilma Archer and is featured on his album ‘A Western Circular’. She also has begun performing with singer/songwriter Georgia Duncan.

Clíona loves working within the community, she was an Open Academy Fellow in 2017/18 supporting and delivering workshops in schools and other settings. She currently performs with Hold the Drama delivering PSHE centred, non verbal plays for all ages.
