After initial studies at the Komitas State Conservatory, Yerevan, Armenia where she received the Red Diploma, Angela was awarded a full scholarship to the Royal Academy of Music in London where she has performed with conductors including Sir. Colin Davis, Yan Pascal Tortelier and Ignat Solzhenitsyn, as well as being a regular member of the Academy Soloists, a string ensemble led by Clio Gould.

Before coming to the U.K, Angela spent a year as First Violin in the Spendaryan State Opera and Ballet orchestra in Yerevan as well as teaching for a year in the Tchaikovsky specialist music school. Since then, Angela has participated in various masterclasses, including the Ensemble-Akademie, Freiburg and has been coached by Thomas Rieble, Evgeny Hrach and Paul Silverthorne amongst others.

As well as performing regularly in choral and orchestral concerts at venues including the Royal Festival Hall, the Barbican Centre, Southwark Cathedral, Canterbury Cathedral, Shoreditch Town Hall and St. Paul’s, Covent Garden, Angela is a passionate advocate of new music and has given several first performances, most notably at Tête à Tête: The Opera Festival 2011, at the Riverside Studios, London, where she was described as a “virtuoso violinist” by the Daily Telegraph.

Since moving to the U.K in 2006, Angela has been teaching privately and at both primary and secondary level in schools in and around London.

From 2008 Angela has been working for Music Masters.
