Neto started his journey with Music Masters when he moved from Portugal in Year 3. Neto is now 18 and still plays violin and drums, and now he sings, plays piano, steel pans, percussion instruments, and is learning guitar and bass.

Neto went to Jessop Primary School, and Kingsdale Foundation school with a drums and violin scholarship. Like many Music Masters students, he started off playing “Twinkle Twinkle Little Star” in the school hall and, as time went on, played pieces like “Capriol suite” by Peter Warlock and “Four seasons” by Vivaldi and many more in venues like the Royal Festival Hall, the Royal Albert Hall, Wigmore Hall, in Parliament, in Notting Hill Carnival and also, abroad, playing in some venues in Germany. He has played many genres, from Classical music to Jazz to RnB to Funk to Pop to Soca to Reggae to Gospel to Rock to Samba, and so on!

Recently he has been playing for professional bands and other groups, as well as working part time in the music department of Kingsdale Foundation school doing co-teaching and helping planning events and getting students ready for their performances and music exams.
