Tom graduated from the Royal Academy of Music with first-class honours, and worked as a professional trumpet player performing with leading orchestras across the UK and in the West End. He also specialised in historical performance and performed chamber music with his award-winning quintet, London Metropolitan Brass.

He later moved into fundraising, working at Speech and Language UK, a charity supporting children with speech, language and communication needs. Passionate about expanding access to high-quality music education for young people, he now works as Philanthropy Manager, developing and deepening relationships with major donors to deliver this. He brings together his experience as a musician, collaborator and fundraiser.
