Thanks to your generous support, we managed to raise £82,026 during our Ambassadors for Change campaign. From the 26th February to the 10th March we took the opportunity to celebrate all of our brilliant Music Masters Ambassadors.
The main event took place on Wednesday 3rd March when we broadcast an online concert featuring performances from Sheku Kanneh-Mason, Nicola Benedetti, Randall Goosby, Benjamin Grosvenor, Hyeyoon Park, Harlem Quartet and finished with a very special performance from Tom Poster and Elena Urioste performing alongside some of our students, Champions and Artists, in an exclusive ensemble performance of Donald Grant’s There Was a Different Day.
We also heard from a selection of our Champions, who beautifully discussed their roles as advocates for our work, in addition to a video illustrating how important our Ambassadors are. As part of the campaign we also held our first online auction, to bid for a private, online 30-minute performance from Sheku Kanneh-Mason and we are delighted that this sold for £5000.
We’d like to say a huge thank you to everyone that took part and donated – your support allows us to continue our mission to give children from all backgrounds access to high quality music education and we can’t thank you enough.
